Natasha Nyonyozi (23) from Kabale District in southwestern Uganda, and an accountant by profession, was crowned Miss Uganda 2024 on Saturday night.
The news has sparked jubilation across social media, with Ugandans congratulating her on this achievement. Nyonyozi has made history as the first Miss Uganda from the Kigezi region in Western Uganda.
The crowning ceremony took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala. Natasha is the daughter of Mr. Francis and Eva Mutabazi, residents of Kyonyo, Kamuganguzi Sub County, Ndorwa West County in Kabale District. Her father is a renowned businessman, and her mother is a pastor.
