Kampala, Uganda: Its now two days to the D-day, a Friday when the county side will gather at Kololo Independence Grounds to celebrate H.E Museveni’s achievements for this country ever since he took over on 26th January, 1986 after ousting the tyrannical rule of Idi Amin Dada and Apollo0 Milton Obote.
While addressing press at Kololo, Hon. Rosemary Nansubuga Seninde, The Nationalm RESISTANCE Movement Head of the Directorate Mobilization affirmed the country that ill is in line to have the long-waited day come to pass.
Seninde said that they have been overwhelmed by the will of Ugandans to recognize the contribution of the fountain of honor. “Ugandans themselves have willingly offered everything that be will be using to organize this mega event. They have given us cows that will be slaughtered, provided t6ransport that will deliver Ugandans from across the different divides of this nation to acknowledge President’s works.” She admitted.
The event has been organized under the theme, ‘Good work is worth Celebrating’.
Seninde assured media that many times, Ugandans, we have always been asking the president whenever we meet him but this time, ‘we said no, we need to thank him instead.
She disclosed that they are going to have many visitors including those at a regional level for example Madaraka Nyerere-son of former Tanzanian President Later Julius Mwalim Nyerere, from Ethiopia, Somalia and other surrounding countries.
Stage is already erected, Security beefed by SFC with the help of TONTA and other groups, food and drinks assured, entertainment, medical camp to be there and other things.
