On Sunday, in a spiritual encounter, two members of the Makerere-Kikoni based Karimero Souls Redemption Ministries were convicted and willingly decided to offer themselves for Christ’s family through baptism.
On a flashy rainy day, Brother Charles Mukundane, the Overseer of KSRM Church with the help of Apostle Thomas Harera, a pastor there took it to himself to teach the two about essence of baptism so that they can’t lit.
“Baptism is not just a sign but a covenant with Jesus Christ that on that very day you receive this holy sacrament, you commit to walk according to his commands, doing good and living a faithful life.” He stated.

“As well this covenant you’ve made today should always convict you in case you’re on a verge of slipping away from his glory.” He added.
In his teaching, he majored on the scripture in JOHN 3:5 that says;
“I am telling you the truth,” replied Jesus. “No one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.
He affirmed the two that by being baptized means that ‘you have died with Christ and resurrected with him in glory and immediately receive the Holy Spirit.’
“When you are baptized it means that you have transformed spiritually and therefore you should distance yourselves from the deeds of the darkness, that’s the true meaning of baptism.” He implored.
He empowered them that they have received their freedom today quoting the scripture in the Paul’s letter to Corinthians, 2Cor 5:17 that reads;
Anyone joined in Christ is a new being, the old is gone behold the new has come.
“Like, the son of God, Jesus Christ was fully transformed, even his body came out very clean however, to avoid questions of doubt, I take this honor to welcome you in the holy family of Christ Jesus.

SUNDAY SERVICE
On the same day, Bro Charles presided over the general service and dominant in his teaching was what was revealed to him by the holy one.
He told the congregation that he heard a voice telling him that, God will use him to;
Restore 50 marriages that were torn apart, give marriage 150 singles for both girls and girls in KSRM church, give 100 fruits of the womb blessings to the people in the church.
Below are some of the scripture he used in his summon that you may reflect on in the journey of straightening our path of righteousness.
Acts 3:16, Deuteronomy 10:21, Exodus 12: 26, Jeremiah 32:27, Mark 9: 23 and John 2:11.

Before, Apostle Thomas had prepared the congregation in the book of Daniel 3: 17-26, using experiences of three faithful men, Shadrach, Meshach and Adednego who defied the orders of the then King Nebuchadnezzar who had asked then to worship his god and idols but only focused their eyes on God.
‘Even when they were thrown in furnace for their defiance, they did not burn because God sent them an angel who preserved them.’
Like these men, Apostle Thomas implored the congregation that even when they are heavily tested and feel like they want to give up, they should always remember that there’s the God who would stand with them at that critical moment.
