In an official letter from the office of the League General secretary David Kabanda, MP, Hon Aceng has been assigned to coordinate PLU activities in Lango sub region assisted by Hon. Tonny Ayo.

Others are; Mr. Omara Joe Makin the appointed secretary, Mr. Oyite Emmanuel (publicity), Dr. Lakisa Mercy, Youth council representative, Hon Olobo James Dubai, Elderly council representative, Her Worship Alwedo Rebecca Ogole, PWD council representative and Ms. Adia Rebecca Moro as the women council representative.

Hon David Kabanda, the league General Secretary said the leadership of PLU is confident of the dedication and commitment of the above-mentioned individuals to PLU’s values of patriotism and combating corruption and wastage of Public resources.

“We envisage this team significantly contributing to our efforts in engaging and Mobilising the citizenry in Lango sub region towards transformation and socio-economic development.” Kabanda said in a letter dated June 8, 2024.

The Patriotic League of Uganda is a non-partisan, non- denominational and non- sectarian under the Patronage of General Muhoozi Kainerugaba with the aim of working towards reviving in Ugandans a spirit of good citizenship, national pride, national service, protection of vulnerable persons, combating corruption and wastage of public resources, and protection of the environment.

PLU has remained engaged and active in mobilizing Ugandans towards the goal of national unity, peace and stability.
