Kyambogo, Uganda: While addressing the gathering that had turned up for End of Year Prayers at Office of the National Chairman NRM, Al-Hajji Moses Kigongo, the National Vice Chairman of NRM highly rated the contribution of Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye and pledged movement’s support to her duties as the national mobilizer of all Bazzukulu.
Relatedly, Kigongo called upon carders and Movement coordinators to remain resilient in their different capacities as it will be the only way to turn around the state of our country and adding value to citizens in all spheres. He roared at those interfering with the peace of Namyalo citing that it is a hard job to put together Ugandans in this case the youths.
At this event that converged different political leaders both NRM and other parties like DP, Movement Cdres, religious leaders and Regional Bazzukulu Coordinators, Kigongo sought for backing of tremendous works executed by Namyalo than fighting her instead.
Namyalo, in her address mentioned that the year 2023 has tested her a lot but ‘with God’s guidance and wise advise of NRM Party Chairman, President Museveni, she has managed to handle the situations successfully’. She added that, the old man with a hut still has pending work to accomplish and its by this fact that his standing as President in 2026 is inevitable.

She boldly stated that some people among them who profess to be Museveni diehards, initiate uncalled for fights and yet they are not, ‘wondered how they say they are with them yet you are fighting them’
“May God deal with all the evil hearted people and enable us win them always so that we can be able to achieve our mission of seeing Museveni registering a 99% national victory come 2026,” Namyalo stated.
While giving his remarks, Richard Twodwong, the Secretary General of NRM Party bashed baseless rumors that he is at loggerheads with Hajjat Namyalo saying that ONC and the NRM Secretariat are sisters and therefore its only enemies that would like to see parallel lines drawn between the two groups. “We are one and our target is to see Museveni serving this nation for more decades, that’s our common goal and working with Namyalo I know we shall achieve it,” said Todwong.
“Whenever they say we are fighting, I call my sister and ask her Namyalo is it true we are enemies? She laughs and I laugh. So always trash those fake rumors.” He added.
He heeped praises for Namyalo for having revived NRM’s repute notably in the Capital, Kampala. “ I will personally support you, you have made all streets of Kampala yellow. People especially the youths are now proud to wear Museveni Tova Ku Main t-shirts. You came with the vibe that was surely lacking. You have won in that field and we shall surely stand behind you,” said Todwong.
Hajjat Namyalo was appointed by President Yoweri Museveni in 2022 as the head of the Office of the National Chairperson and as a Special Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs replacing Minister Babalanda who the President had elevated to the position of Minister for Presidency. She swiftly ensured that there should be desired visibility of NRM activities to revived and maintain good brand of the mighty party through awareness that has since paid off.
