Bobi Wine’s meeting with Abitex was confirmed by photos shared by both individuals on their social media.
Musician Bobi Wine, banned from performing for over three years due to political rants, is reportedly set to perform at Enkuuka this year on December 31 at Kabaka’s palace in Mengo.
Event promoter Abitex held a meeting with Bobi Wine over the weekend, and the NUP President agreed to perform. Abitex is now negotiating with security heads to allow the Firebase leader to proceed with the performance.
“Abitex wants him to perform at Enkuuka this year; it’s the reason they met, and he agreed. Abitex also set aside 50 million for him. However, Abitex must now convince security to let him go ahead with the performance,” an insider source told this website.
