The director of Kings Palace Primary School in Luwero has been apprehended on charges of sexually assaulting students, as confirmed by Regional Police Spokesperson Sam Twiineamaziima.
The individual in question, identified as Jona Sebamanya, allegedly committed the offenses between September 2023 and October 2023, within the localities of Kakokolo village and Kikubajinja village in Luweero District.
On October 25, 2023, law enforcement received a report alleging that six pupils had fallen victim to the suspect’s actions. The age range of the victims falls between 13 and 17 years.
Subsequent investigations revealed that three of the pupils, aged 17, 14, and 15, had been subjected to sexual abuse, as confirmed by medical reports.
It is worth noting that all the victims are students attending Kings Palace Primary School in Luweero district, and they are currently in their P.7 year, preparing for their final examinations, according to Twiineamaziima.
Sebamanya is presently in custody at Luweero CPS, while authorities continue their efforts to apprehend another suspect who is currently evading arrest, as stated by Twiineamaziima
