UK in it’s terrorist warning said that the attacks should be discriminated or against places frequented by foreign nationals adding there is a high threat of terrorist attack globally affecting UK interests calling upon it’s nationals to be vigilant at all times.
Today the DP National Vice president Fred Mukasa Mbidde while addressing journalists at party Headquarters City house in kampala said that it’s good that UK has warned Uganda security organs are going to be more alert as well as the general public.
” since the warning has come there is a need to re-build people and police relationship for easy monitoring of the situation because currently people fear to report to police any incident of terrorism because they know they can be arrested” Mbidde disclosed.
However, Mbidde condermed UK for warning terrorist attack publicly because it is good to alert in professional way such that the country security can organize well saying although it is good because public can also be vigilant and keep away from the mentioned places.
He call upon every one in Uganda to be more vigilant saying DP is going to help government , public in any means possible to stop any act of terrorism to happen again in Uganda.
On the same presser Mbidde has summoned party members at Kaunda Grounds in Gulu city on 22/July/2023 to be explained the real meaning of Dp, NRM agreement.
It should be remembered that the DP president also the minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs Norbert Moa together with other party officials signed amomerundum to work together for better social, political environment of Uganda which some of party members failed to agree and departed to other opposition parties.
“The meeting is going to stop all bicarings within the party that was developed after the signing of the agreement because members will have a chance to ask questions and answered instantly” Mbidde revealed.
“DP is going to show the world that it is important to work with the ruling government to bring development in any Community and start the new chapter of ugandans politics” he adds.
Mbidde revealed that the meeting is also going to work as well coming back home party for the party president Norbert Moa because ever since was appointed as a minister he has never gone back to his ancestral home ground and they have appointed a committee headed by him the vice president, NRM secretary General Richard Twodongo among which is going to spear head the preparations.
