They aware of the improved political environment and the good relationship that has been created between Zambia and the International community who support these vices of homosexuality.
According to insiders, what Emmanuel Mwamba and team are doing is to set a precedent by testing our laws. They want to see how far they can get away with it.
First they are testing the law on public order and right to hold an assembly in a democracy like Zambia. They are looking for an arrest so that when the issue goes to court they will rally the west to say that Zambia is against LGBTQ.
They know that the country is pushing for debt relief and our government does not want to get on the wrong side of the west. They don’t want the country to successfully restructure the debt and improve the economy.
