Kampala, Uganda: Jose Chameleones’s highly anticipated show at cricket Oval today has been postponed to February 24, 2023, due to unavoidable circumstances.
After the Friday afternoon downpour, the stage that Chameleone was meant to sing on collapsed due to the heavy rains.
The gigantic stage mounted and beautiful stage that was set up by Fenon Events couldn’t withstand the strong wind, collapsing to the ground destroying property worth millions and injuring a few Fenon employees.
After a lot of anticipation of what would happen, Chameloene appeared at Cricket Oval and confirmed that the show had been cancelled and postponed.
“We shall be back bigger and stronger on February 24th. Thank you Fenon for the beautiful stage that you put up, and for my friends and fans that have stood by me during this hard time. For all those that had purchased the tickets keep them safe. See you on the 24th,” Chameleone has said while at Cricket Oval Lugogo.
Steve Jean who doesn’t compromise quality had outdone himself on this stage as it is rumoured that he had imported most of the equipment from Dubai and could only watch in disbelief as everything stumbled to the ground.
It is also said that Chameleone was willing to go on with the show but after an emergency meeting, he was convinced that it was not safe for him and his team.
It should be noted that the construction of the stage took Fenon Events four days but there was no way they were going to pull it off in just hours without compromising people’s safety.
