The Forum for Democratic Change Former (FDC)president who also double as National Council Member Rtd. Col Dr. Kizza Besigye has expressed fears over a turbulent future of Uganda due to the growing population of youth but with limited resources in the country.
Besigye disclosed this today during the two days (24th-25th November 2022) FDC Party National Council meeting converged at the party headquarters in Najjanankumbi, that Uganda’s population is overwhelming with 50% of Children under the age of 15 making Uganda’s population and there no preparations yet has been made by Uganda’s leaders to curb the situation which likely to cause an uprising in the country any time.
” Uganda’s productivity is so low and decreasing despite the advancement in the population which leaves Uganda with out substance but instead a turbulent economy and the more government would keep a deaf ear on matters concerning youths something is yet to erupt” Besigye says
He has advised Ugandans more so political players to unity and get away forward to suffering Ugandans and called upon FDC National Council members to rebuild the party strategies if FDC will take power in the coming days, weeks, months or years
Meanwhile Besigye has further revealed that the minority sharing Uganda’s lion’s share have advanced the rate at which production is drawing down and people’s welfare also poor leaving hungry people to only focus on crime and agitation for their survival.
