The president of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa has ordered his son Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba to quickly back off Twitter. Museveni backs off Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba after his endless tweets concerning politics and particularly provoking other politicians within and outside the country.
Recently, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba wrote threatening tweets invading Kenya, and on that, he has increasingly been entering the political area with his unending critics. This led to an uproar on Twitter, with netizens accusing him of being reckless and imperiling relations between the neighboring countries.
“I would never beat up the Kenyan army because my father told me never to attempt it! So our people in Kenya should relax!” Gen. Muhoozi tweeted.
By the time Gen. Muhoozi tweeted this, the Kenyan government did not comment but Uganda’s foreign ministry issued a statement saying Uganda treasured its strong bilateral relations with its brotherly neighbors. Kenyan President later came to Uganda and discussed issues concerning East Africa
On this also the president of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa apologized to the Kenyan government and Kenya as a whole but this wasn’t lessoning enough to Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba because since then he has continuously been tweeting the same kind of tweets forcing his father to put a stop on him.
