Kampala Uganda: 7 yrs Maya Cresser attracted attention of the crowd who were witnessing Dolphins Fast & Furious National swimming competitions at Akamwesi Mall in Kyebando.
Maya who hails from Leopards swimming club made her debut at the competition and put comparably promising performance that excited the everyone.
Important to note:
Dolphins Fast & Furious National swimming competition is an annual age-group organized by Dolphins Swim Club, Kampala under Uganda Swimming Federation (USF) where all swim clubs across the country participate.

Maya told Umoja Standard that at the age of 4, she started admiring the game after seeing fellow kids do so.
“I told my mother that i want to swim like my friends. When i come from school, take me to the swimming pool”. Maya revealed.
Asked who she admired, with a serious face, Maya said “I admire myself because i have won some of the kids we were swimming together”.
She said, her parents have helped her a lot to realize her dream of being a great swimmer.

Ms. Andrea- the mother to the wonderkid revealed that Maya started admiring the game when she was as little as 8 months while in Canada so they realized her dream and kept growing it till when she was four that she started serious swimming.
“Today’s competition is the first high level one she has participated in and we hope for other more. So long as she loves the game, we shall be in position to support her to whatever level she will go”. Ms. Andrea vowed.
